Maze Animal Hospital offers many diagnostic services for your companion.  We have internal and external laboratory support to aid in diagnosis of medicine cases and pre-operative screenings.  Digital x-ray is becoming the new standard in veterinary medicine and Maze Animal Hospital is able to provide this new standard of diagnostic imaging.  The level of detail in a digital x-ray is far superior to standard x-ray and aids in the diagnosis of disease.

Maze Animal Hospital is pleased to offer the services of Dr. David Detweiler, an American College of Veterinary Radiologists diplomate (ACVR), for x-ray interpretation and various ultrasound studies (heart, abdomen, and muscle/tendon).  Dr. Detweiler also offers minimally-invasive ultrasound guided organ biopsy.

Maze Animal Hospital offers orthopedic evaluation through Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) and PennHip (University of Pennsylvania Hip Improvement Program). Please ask one of our staff members for more information.
